Apartment Review for Bel Air - Saint Petersburg, FL

Bel Air has lovely grounds, but you don't dare make use of them. They allow tenants to have as large and as many dogs as they want. There is no way to describe the amount of dog shit that lingers everywhere throughout this complex. And there is no way to describe the anger felt by stepping on a pile dropped and left on the walk way by the pet owner who couldn't give a shit who might step in it in the dark. If you can't see the shit, you can certainly smell it from your windows and when ascending the stairs - the pet owners don't like to walk far after a long day's work, so they take their animal just as far as the grass near their neighbor's apartment. Bel Air also draws loud parking lot partying types who stay up until all hours of the night/morning having a loud talking goodtime on their screened porches which are typically located just outside of the joining apartment bed rooms. You can forget sleeping with the windows open on cool evenings - too much noise! Since you have no way of knowing who will move in near you can end up with a combination of partiers an barking dogs - oh and let's not forget you can also end up surrounded by chain smokers whose habit filters into your nonsmoking apartment from the screened porch and the bathroom air vent. The apartments aren't bad, but if you don't mind the shit, the smell, the smoke, and believe me complaining does no good - then move in at your own risk!
